A collection of the images I am taking inspiration from for the project. Looking at pastel coloured sweets and cakes. As pastels are a key trend for this spring/summer, I thought it would be appropriate to look at. Have just discovered how amazing pinterest is.

This is the second project I’ve been given since specialising in weaving, which involves collecting, drawing, photographing and experimenting with cakes and sweets in order to inform our weave designs. I have a feeling a lot of eating, rather than working is going to happen.

So I’ve just been given a new project, and figured that this would be a good time to give this whole blogging thing a go. The plan is to post my own pieces of work, as well as inspirational work by other artists and designers.
